Cory Hefner: Owner and Head Instructor - 2nd Dan

Before Cory started formally training in ISSHIN RYU KARATE , Cory proudly served in the United States Army Reserve. It was while in the ARMY that Cory realized how important it was to develop yourself not only physically but mentally and spiritually too. With this realization Cory started to train seriously in the martial arts and earned rank in ISSHIN RYU KARATE. He also went back to college and received his BA degree from Kean College and his MS degree from Steven's Institute of Technology. (Both Colleges are located in New Jersey)

Cory has over 15 year of Martial Arts Training and has studdied varoious styles such as MU DUK KWON and TRADITIONAL WING CHUNG KUNG FU with Master Keith Mazza.
